David Lawrence Centers Alumni Association is open to all graduates of Crossroads, Day Treatment and Adult Drug Court. The mission of the group is assist David Lawrence Center clients with a substance abuse problem in the process of restoring and rebuilding their lives, to help those in the community seeking help with chemical dependency and to fellowship with each other to stay connected to David Lawrence Center and recovery.
The Alumni Association hosts a monthly alumni only 12-step recovery meeting onsite at Crossroads and participates in groups on the Detox Unit to help clients currently going through treatment that recovery is possible and sustainable.
The Association is also very active in the recovery community doing recovery oriented volunteer projects and outreach efforts. These activities include serving food at St. Matthew's House and helping host the David Lawrence Center's Recovery Month reception and supporting substance abuse prevention events held throughout the community.
