Child's Path Preschool is an affiliate of the David Lawrence Center. The preschool was originally established in the 1980’s in order to provide Center employees discounted and affordable child care services. Child’s Path is now open to the public and has grown to become one of the most well respected, full-service preschool programs in Collier County.
Child’s Path is a 5 day-a-week preschool program for children ages 1 - 5 years old. The services provided include kindergarten readiness and teaching age appropriate social skills, behavioral tools and prevention activities using the PAPY Program. Child’s Path also offers the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Program (VPK) for children over 4 years old who are scheduled to attend kindergarten in the upcoming school year.
The goal of Child’s Path is to ensure a nurturing environment where children can flourish both academically and socially. Child’s Path’s educational philosophy is to give each child a positive experience where they can build a healthy self-esteem. Child’s Path accomplishes this goal by creating a fun, hands on approach to learning for the whole child focusing on their social, emotional and physical well-being.
