Diane Lyons first heard about Encore when she and her husband bought a furnished home three years ago. Piece by piece she slowly began replacing the furniture that came with the home with new items and they chose Encore to consign the old ones.
Diane adds, "From day one, I really liked working with the people here. They made consigning so easy and everyone I met was really nice."
When Diane recently retired from her career in the medical field, she found a need to "keep busy". She immediately thought of Encore and all the great people she worked with as consigner and customer. She adds, "Volunteering has been so fun. It is such a joy to know that you can fill your time meeting new people and really enjoying what you do while supporting such a worthwhile cause."
Diane has been riding high ever since she sold a set of six chairs on her very first day working as a volunteer. She says, "I was ecstatic! I go home with stories all the time of how much fun I am having. I am encouraging all my friends to join me."
