Family Intervention Services provide parents with substance abuse problems with case management, outreach, screening, referral, linking and monitoring services designed to prevent problems related to drug and alcohol abuse and coordinate any necessary treatment. These services are primarily for adult family members involved in the child welfare system. The goal of these services is to monitor an individual with identified substance abuse problems and help manage their recovery process for the betterment of the entire family.
