(Learn even more) David Lawrence Center was honored by the Naples Daily News as a 2012 Healthcare Hero for the Community Outreach category at their "Here's to our Heroes" Awards luncheon held in April. The program recognizes excellence, promotes innovation and educates the community about best practices to enhance the value and quality of health care in the Southwest Florida area. The Community Outreach Award recognizes an organization that reaches out of its normal sphere of operation to focus attention on a healthcare issue or helps solves a community problem.
