 
David Lawrence Foundation is a separate, not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization that was established in 1976 to generate philanthropic support for the David Lawrence Centers mission, ongoing operations and growth. The Foundation is governed by the Board of Trustees.
The David Lawrence Foundations purpose as a philanthropic organization is to raise funds, maintain professional ownership of its real estate and prudently manage, grow and distribute its income and endowment on an annual basis as deemed appropriate by the Board.
The Foundation raises money through fundraising events, annual donations (cash, gifts of stock, real estate, etc.), planned giving, endowment gifts, grants, investments and through Encore, a used furniture consignment shop located in Naples.
